A few days ago, trucks loaded with fruits and vegetables set out from the Haijixing International Agricultural Products Logistics Park in Shenzhen, Guangdong, and headed for Hong Kong. From mid May to late June this year, Shenzhen Wenjindu Port delivered more than 6000 batches and 50000 tons of fruits and vegetables, providing Hong Kong citizens with fresh fruits and vegetables.
In order to ensure the fresh, delicious and green safety of vegetables supplied to Hong Kong, Shenzhen has promoted the construction of land logistics channels, opened channels connecting various logistics parks and logistics centers, and made every effort to build a smooth, fast and convenient "green lifeline".
Modern logistics industry is one of the four pillar industries in Shenzhen. In recent years, Shenzhen has taken such measures as canceling some urban expressway tolls and encouraging the development of joint distribution to comprehensively promote the linkage of logistics industry and the intellectualization of logistics equipment, and significantly improve the industrial scale, operational efficiency and development quality. In 2018, the added value of Shenzhen's logistics industry was 254.158 billion yuan, up 9.35% year on year; The total logistics cost was 305.99 billion yuan, accounting for 12.63% of GDP in the same period, down 0.02% year on year.
Guide enterprises to explore common distribution in the field of people's livelihood
Shenzhen is adjacent to Hong Kong. The average daily shipment of vegetables from the mainland to Hong Kong is about 1400 tons, accounting for about 90% of the total daily consumption of Hong Kong citizens. In order to ensure the quality of vegetables supplied to Hong Kong, Shenzhen Transportation Bureau took the lead to vigorously promote the construction of land logistics channels such as the eastern transit expressway, Pingyan channel, Banyin channel, and open up the roads connecting various logistics parks, logistics centers, and headquarters bases.
Pingyan Channel starts from Pingshan New Area in the north and ends at Yanba Expressway in Yantian District in the south. After being completed and opened to traffic, it only takes 25 minutes to drive from Pingshan New Area to Futian Central District; Banyin Channel connects Shenzhen Futian and Longgang. After it is completed and opened to traffic, it only takes 12 minutes to drive from Longgang Bantian to Futian Central District.
Developing joint distribution is one of the effective ways for Shenzhen to improve the efficiency of agricultural and sideline products logistics transportation and expand the profit space. In 2012, Shenzhen Municipal Government invested in the establishment of Haijixing International Agricultural Products Logistics Park, optimized the distribution organization of "the first kilometer" and "the last kilometer", and improved the logistics operation efficiency in the field of people's livelihood.
Shenzhen supports enterprises to establish fresh and cold chains, urban logistics associations and other industrial organizations, encourages production and distribution enterprises to establish cooperation and share resources, guides enterprises to explore joint distribution in key areas of people's livelihood such as fast moving consumer goods, agricultural and sideline products, and unblocks logistics channels. At present, Hager Logistics Co., Ltd., Kaidongyuan Modern Logistics Co., Ltd. and other enterprises have formed a joint distribution mode with distinctive characteristics, effectively driving the development of the industry.
The reduction or exemption of expressway tolls in the city will greatly help the distribution enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Since 2014, Shenzhen Municipal Government has cancelled the charging of seven high-speed highways in the city, including Meilin Guanlan Expressway, Shenzhen Section of Longhua Daling Mountain Expressway, Nanshan Guangming District Expressway and Yantian Port Pai (Bang Interchange) Expressway, in batches by means of repurchase. From March 2018, Shenzhen will give a 50% discount to freight vehicle tolls passing through Shenzhen section of Yanjiang Expressway.
This year, Shenzhen Transport Bureau will improve the management policy of urban distribution vehicles' passing and stopping, simplify the inspection and detection of freight vehicles, strengthen the clearing of charges in the logistics field, and further promote the development of urban green distribution.
Support R&D and application of intelligent devices
While optimizing the goods distribution organization, Shenzhen strives to improve the level of logistics service, and promotes the efficiency and service quality of the logistics industry by issuing special funds for the modern logistics industry and building a logistics distribution information service platform.
In 2017, Shenzhen Yiliu Technology Co., Ltd. created the "Yiliu Cloud Platform", which has the functions of logistics station location optimization, transportation route navigation, urban distribution route optimization, driver driving behavior analysis, etc., to provide enterprises with transparent and collaborative logistics services. At present, the platform has provided services to more than 40000 enterprises, more than 1.5 million large trucks, and more than 1.6 million front-line drivers, covering manufacturing, cold chain, express delivery, retail, catering and other sub sectors.
Shenzhen supports enterprises to research, develop and manufacture intelligent logistics equipment, and promote the intelligent development of logistics equipment. In 2018, SF Express invested 2.7 billion yuan in science and technology research and development, realizing the full coverage of "AI Assistant" speech recognition in Shenzhen. The recycling packaging box "Feng Box" can be recycled for 50 times. The logistics UAV runs automatically throughout the whole process, and more than 100,000 smart handheld terminals have been promoted.
Next, Shenzhen will promote the deep integration of the logistics supply chain industry and the manufacturing industry, improve the intelligent level of the manufacturing supply chain, encourage innovation in key areas such as cold chain logistics and urban distribution, establish a corresponding standard and specification system, and support the high-quality development of the logistics industry.
